Rocky Mountain STOL is a Short Take Off and Landing (STOL) Competition hosted by Emblem Aviation.
This years event will be held Aug. 10th-13th, 2023 in Pinedale, WY at Ralph Wenz Field (KPNA), WY supported by National STOL.
The Pinedale event at Ralph Wenz Field was part of the National STOL series, but it did not count towards season points in their annual competition.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN STOL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Thursday, August 10
- 2:00pm — Competitor/Camping Opens
- 6:00pm — Competitor Dinner (complimentary for Pilot and their plus one) at Half Moon Lake Lodge (shuttle provided)
Friday, August 11
- 8:15am — Mandatory Pilot Safety Briefing
- 8:45am-noon — Competitor Practice
- 12:00pm — Spouse and Partner “Lunch, Paint, and Sip” at Half Moon Lake Lodge (separate fee)
- Afternoon — Fishing with Two Rivers Fishing (for more information, follow the link, click on Contact, and be sure to mention Rocky Mountain STOL! Booking is first come, first served.)
- 5:00pm — Concert in the Park, featuring Last Revel and special guest Kimmi Bitter
- Hosted by Pinedale Fine Arts and Local Food Trucks
Saturday, August 12
- 9:00am — Competition Begins
- Mid Day –– Lunch Break and Pilot Meet and Greet
- After Lunch — Competition Resumes
- At the Close of Competition — Awards Ceremony on the Flightline
- 4:00pm — Closing Dinner for Competitors at Pitchfork Fondue
